Baby Girl is on the lookout for a new home. She loves other dogs and is very sweet with people!! She follows the lead of other dogs and is learning a lot from them. She was abandoned in a backyard with a Doberman. Person came by the feed and water them once a week. Very loving girl. She wont get that large, maybe 100 lbs.
Baby Girl is doing wonderful in her foster home. She has overcome her fear of steps and now runs up and down them with just a little hesitation. She is doing great with housebreaking. She is in her crate during the day and does great. You do have to make sure the door is blocked as she is extremely smart & strong and has mastered popping the latches out by using her weight to push against the door. She does like to chew so you just have to make sure she has plenty of her own toys / bones to keep her occupied. She does wonderfully on a leash and lets her 2 & 3 year old boys walk her with ease. She is working on being in the yard and listening to commands and is doing great. She is a wonderful family dog who gets along great with her foster doggies and kitties. All she wants is the chance to love and be loved.
Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our funds are used for rescuing the dogs. Our rescue policy requires the following: *Adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina. *Applications for giant breed dogs must be submitted by the property owner. *Homes with children under 6 years of age will not be approved for adoption. *Homes with children should have a fenced yard. *All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permitted at the foster home. *All family members must be present during the home visit to the applicant's home. *Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being applied for, before any adoption can be completed.
