MEET MYRTLE....... WHAT A LIVING DOLL SHE IS!!! Myrtle is a female Shar Pei mix who is estimated at 3-4 years of age. Isn't she the cutest thing you have ever seen? Myrtle has the typical head and body and coat of a Shar Pei with an unusual white coat with chocolate brown ticking. This is not the typical coat that Shar Peis are known for but this girl is the most beautiful Shar Pei mix we have ever seen. Myrtle has a nice temperament and is a sweet girl. Her only downfall is she loves to chase cats given the chance. Myrtle just loves to shower everyone with doggie kisses! She was rescued from an overcrowed home living out in the heat! Bless her heart, she deserves so much better. Will you be the one to offer her that love? Myrtle is being fostered in FORD CITY, PA and must be picked up at that location. UPDATE!!! Here are some of the new things Myrtle's foster mom has to say about her.... Myrtle is doing great! She is a quiet girl who is getting along well with my kids. She is not an active one to play, but tolerates Carol Ann and Otis climbing on top of her. I have NOT seen her chase cats or anything else for that matter including my dogs! Myrtle is so good with being left alone and NOT being crated. She loves to be cuddled her tail just thumps. She eats well and is NOT picky about the food she gets. She sleeps with me but will leave in the morning to go outside where she seems to love to be. She comes when called, walks on a leash, barks very very little. A quick NO is all the correction she needs. She actually stands and dances when it is dinner time ;-) I think she would be great with kids, but even better with a lonely person who needs and wants a companion. She has a gentle soul with a very kind side to her. She has NOT bothered my parrots at all...the true test! This sweet girl will make someone a wonderful pet companion! Adoption Fees: Timber Ridge Rescue is a 501c3 non profit rescue. Please know that 100% of our funds are used for vetting the dogs. MYRTLE'S adoption fee is $250. Our rescue policy requires the following: *A visit to the applicant's home when all members are present. *Homes with small children must have a fenced yard. *Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being applied for before any adoption can be completed.
