Meet Hannah. Hannah has certainly had more than her fair share of hard knocks during her short 4-5 years. In fact, if you look closely at her skull you can see where it was caved in by someone at one time. Despite the neglect she's suffered, she remains one happy-go-lucky laid back girl. Hannah has severe arthritis in both hips and knees and because of this, we feel her new home should have no/few stairs for her to negotiate (ramps would be ideal). Hannah's adopter would need to help her maintain her slim figure of 110-112 lbs. and continue her bi-monthly Adequan shot regimen as well as a daily, good-quality glucosamine/chondroitin supplement and pain management pills. She would do best placed in a home with no children and at least one other quiet dog to keep her company as she gets along "fabulously" with dogs of all sizes (both male and female) and very much enjoys their company (she is particularly smitten with our other Mastiff); she is also fine with cats. True to the Mastiff personality, Hannah is faithful, protective, couch potato extraordinaire, completely trustworthy and housebroken when left out and about in the house and is "all about the ride" in the van. We believe that Hannah has suffered some abuse at the hands of a man at some point in her life and, because of this, it takes her a good while to warm up to men. Please consider opening your heart and home to this girl -- she has more than earned her right to a deserving life.
