 This skinny girl was found wandering in WV. She is young, friendly and smart. She is putting on weight and doing wonderfully in fostercare. She is crate trained and 95% housebroken. She is spayed and UTD on vaccines, however she did test positive for heartworms. Due to her age, she is a low positive and we have chosen the slow kill method in treating her. Whomever is lucky enough to adopt this sweetheart will be sent home with the monthly dose of Heartgard needed to return her to heartworm negative status. This is generally 16 to 24 months. One would never imagine she has these and she is symptom free. The cure is a monthly dose of preventative which responsible pet owners give their pets in the first place. If interested in her, please educate yourself on this method of eradicating heartworm disease. Thank you.

Adoption Donations: Please know that 100% of our funds are used for vetting the dogs. Our rescue policy requires the following: *All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permintted at the foster home. *A visit to the applicant's home when all members are present. *Homes with small children must have a fenced yard. *Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being applied for before any adoption can be completed.
