Update 3/3/2012 Tasha has proven to be a wonderful girl. She is a loyal friend and very affectionate. She uses her front legs like arms and her paws like hands. She lets you know when she needs a little loving session by putting a paw on your knee. She also does the most unusual 'trick' of sitting up and begging like a little toy dog would. She is very charming. She has put on some weight since coming into rescue. Her 'husband', the male she came in with, and she misses him terribly. Please consider giving her a permanent home where she will be loved and appreciated for the wonderful girl she is!
Tasha just came into the rescue today and we are learning more about her. She is shy at first but is warming up quickly to us. She has been bred and her puppies sold for profit, never getting the love and human bond that this breed so yearns for. She is ready to find 'her family' and stay there forever and no longer forced to have litter after litter of puppies. If you want a big loyal friend, then she is your dog! She is very scared/shy of things. She will go along with you if you tug on her leash, but she is obviousely scared. No aggression in this girl, but she needs someone with either clicker training or extreme patience. She is working on housebreaking, still has some accidents.
