Hi all, my name is Finn! I had a rough situation before coming to rescue that saved me, and very happy now and wanting My foster home does not have any young children around, but I have been around kids and teens while out with them on trips and when they visit my foster home and I love to have some hooman brothers and sisters! My mom says that even though I am not a really big guy for a Dane, she said I make up for it with my big heart and massive personality. Mom loves my ears for some reason, she smiles and laughs when I prance around the yard and strut my stuff! I am a handsome guy I might add. I get along well with dogs, really don’t react but do like their company. Love to play with other dogs and would love to meet them. I even met a cat at the vets! No interest though, he just laid there and looked at me and kept making this funny sound. So, I just walked away to check out the toys in the corner. I love squeaky balls and toys and will play fetch and bring you the ball, even put it in your hand so you can throw it for me. Give me a toy, I can occupy myself forever, I love to toss it high in the air and catch it all by myself or I can bring it to you to play with if you want. My foster Dad says I am extremely intelligent, alert, learn very quickly, eager to please, super I really like to cuddle on the couch or floor, give you nuzzles, and let you scratch my belly as long as you want to. Once I crash out cuddled next to my dad, I am done for the night. My foster Dad has trained me to run to my kennel/crate when he tells me to ”go crate”! I will run I am doing very well now on lead, I never really had that before, and my Dad says I am a completely different dog after some time together so I know what i am supposed to do. Now.I cant wait to go out on walks and explore and see the world. Dad says that I have fantastic recall, and he has been working with me every day to come running to him when he calls my name. He even told me he thinks I could easily be trained for off lead training once I bond with my furever family. Do you have a car? I love car rides and hang my head out for fresh air. I jump right in now and Dad has started training me on a Doggie door! I REALLY like the freedom to go in and out with More about FinnGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Adults, Does Good in the Car, Requires a yard, Leashtrained, Cratetrained, Plays fetch, Likes to play with toys, Likes to be in your lap, Obedient, Playful, Eager To Please, Intelligent, Even-tempered, Gentle, Goofy Important notes before applying.
