This sweet little lap sized dog was abandoned with six puppies, also listed on our site. Duchess has taken such great care of them, throughout all her trials and tribulations, so that they won't know what it is like to be unwanted. This mama dog is really only a baby herself, being barely two years old, yet in that short time she has proven that she would be the ideal house dog. She is good with other dogs, even good with cats. She has a gentle, happy personality and wonders what it would feel like to have a family to love. If you are looking for a small, friendly, grateful dog, you couldn't choose better than Duchess. She is a healthy dog, with her whole life ahead of her. She would delight in going for walks, or sleeping by your side. If you make her yours, she will give you loyalty and happiness every day of her life. The adoption donation is $250 Adoption Donations: Please know that 100% of our funds are used for vetting the dogs. Our rescue policy requires the following: *All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permintted at the foster home. *A visit to the applicant's home when all members are present. *Homes with small children must have a fenced yard. *Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being applied for before any adoption can be completed.
