Description:
Daisy is a wrinkly 150-pound Neapolitan mastiff, a superstar pop singer looking for her forever bandmates.History: Daisy came to MTM from Virginia Beach, VA. She was purchased from a breeder and given to another family before being surrendered to MTM. Likes: Daisy's love language is physical touch. Not necessarily to be pet, but she adores her people. She will lie on your feet to be as close as she can. She loves treats and will “talk” to you when she knows you’re about to give her one. Dislikes: Nothing. Daisy is playful around other dogs and enjoys being part of the pack. Personality: Sweet, loveable, playful, and easygoing. Temperament: Gentle despite her size. She is calm and intelligent. Great on a leash and at the vet. She takes meds with no issues and has no issue being handled. Energy level: She has low energy; sometimes may enjoy bursts of activity but is mostly laid-back and relaxed. She enjoys walks but has no need for an intense exercise session. Favorite activities: Most definitely is laying on the floor as close as possible to her family. Her ideal day consists of a movie marathon and simply being with her humans. She does like other dogs, but her humans are #1. She is also a beautiful singer and loves to serenade her family Challenges: None. Daisy does well being home by herself/with other dogs. Any Medical issues? Daisy recently had her double entropion surgery for her cherry eyes as well as TPLO surgery and is recovering nicely. She still has some chronic skin issues so will need an owner who can give her a daily wipe down of her wrinkles. What would be the best kind of home? Daisy adores people, loves car rides, and would be a wonderful vacation companion. A single-level home or limited access to stairs would be best for her. She will also need an owner to keep her face, eyes, and wrinkles cleaned and able to bathe her once a week.
