Brief description:
Marshall is such a wonderful pup! He loves to lay around and loves his person. He tends to want to love on the ladies a little more then men, but once he gets to know you he is the biggest (literally) Love Bug. Marshall would lay on the couch with his head on your lap all evening if you let him. He is a loud snorer, loves treats, can't wait 'til it's food time, LOVES car rides, and when you're up moving around he just wants to sit beside you. Marshall is that Unicorn of dogs; he loves all other dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, horses, etc!

Likes: Marshall loves car rides, lots of loving, treats, and he just loves to be with you or other pets in the home. He enjoys time on the couch watching tv and is the perfect couch potato, and loves to sit in recliners and enjoy the softness of the chair. Marshall has his favorite cow toy that he likes to sleep with and have with him most of the time while he is hanging out on the couch.

Dislikes: Marshall does not like to be alone. He likes to be with someone all the time even if its just laying on your feet when your working at home. Marshall doesn't like to be left in a crate that is small - he likes enclosures with a little more room to move around. He spent his whole life (4) in a small crate and wanted out. Marshall gets a little anxious around men when he first meets them them comes around when he knows he is gonna be safe with them and they won't hurt him.

Personality: He is the Unicorn of Dogs! He loves adults, children, and other animals (cats, dogs, chickens, goats, horses, etc). He is goofy to watch run, loves to take walks, loves time on the couch with his head on your lap and loves to sleep in a recliner. Marshall is such a good boy and so sweet!

Temperament: Marshall loves everything and is the most thankful dog ever, he just goes with the flow of what ever you are doing. If you want a nap, so does he. If you want to watch tv, so does he. If you want to walk, so does Marshall. He just wants to be with you!

Energy level: Marshall's energy level on a scale of 0-10 is about a 3 - he is about as lazy as they come, but if you want to take a walk he wants to be with you. Marshall is the easiest going dog ever.

Favorite activities: Marshall loves to be LAZY. He loves to sleep, watch tv, take car rides and eat then repeat everything again.

Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Marshall has not met anything or anyone he is not good with. He is 100% sweetie. Men make him a little nervous.

Not good with: Men make Marshall a little nervous, but once he trusts them he loves his people.

Housetrained: As long as Marshall is let out every few hours he will not use the bathroom in the house. He loves to drink water so he needs to go out and pee about every 4 hours or less. He does not want you to be disappointed in him and wants to make his person happy. He is a pleaser.

Crate trained: Marshall was kept in a crate for 4 years with not a lot of loving, so he will do a crate but wants to be out as they make him feel like he is going to go back to the life he doesn't want anymore. He has a large enclosure currently and does great in it.

Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? Marshall doesn't like to be alone and will dig under a fence to be with his person. When he digs out he comes to the front door to see his person with his wagging tail . He just wants to be loved.

Walks well on a leash? Marshall is a great walker on a leash and gets excited to walk with his furever person. Marshall is a lover and just wants to be with someone all the time.

Challenges: Marshall is lazy, so he would sleep all day given the chance.  He would spend all day laying on your lap. He is that big of a lover.

Any Medical issues? None

What would be the best kind of home? A family with kids, other dogs and a family that understands big Velcro dogs. He is the unicorn for sure!
