English Bulldog (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult
DAISY IS LOCATED IN MT. GILEAD, OH. Daisy is a spunky 5 year-old English Bulldog that came to MTM through a puppy Likes: PEOPLE! She follows her people everywhere. She likes nyla bones and a comfy couch. Dislikes: Loud & sudden noises. They can be quite scary. Personality: Daisy is very smart- she learns quickly! She wants to be with you, but not on top of you. She has her silly-girl play moments and overall acts much younger than her 5 years! Temperament: She takes her meds with a treat - no problem. She doesn't like having her ears flushed (who does?), but she tolerates it. She got an EXCELLENT rating recently at the vet for her behavior. Energy level: Daisy is just happy to be beside you and will follow you anywhere. She does her silly zoomies with her pug foster sibling a couple times per day & then she's good for a rest. Favorite activities: She loves her backyard freedom! Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Cats - she paid no attention to them at the vet, but has had no other exposure. Dogs - she is great with big and small. She has been around a small child and was fine, but MTM recommends ages 6+. Other adults have come into her foster home & she greets them appropriately. Not good with: (Cats? Dogs? Strangers? Men? Kids?) Appears to be good with all; cats unknown. Housetrained?: So far she has had no accidents in her foster home. She has been following the lead of her K9 foster siblings and is catching on quickly. Crate trained?: She sleeps in a crate at night. It is left open for her as her safe space during the day. She hasn't used it a lot for that, however. Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? She currently has a fenced in backyard and really enjoys her exploration time, so it would be preferred. Walks well on a leash? Into the vets office, no. Leaving the vets office, yes. ;) Challenges: none noted Any Medical issues? Currently on ab antibiotic after her spay. Short term. What would be the best kind of home? Daisy is delightful. She is looking for a home with someone that likes shadows and cuddles and might just have another pup to play with for those bursts of energy. She is done working for a living and ready to retire to a lap of luxury, aka a comfy couch.
