Bruce is a handsome 4 year old, 55 pound, Staffordshire terrier mix who was found on the streets of VA.  He was rescued by a good samaritan and shortly after, yet another good samaritan took him in as a foster to give him a new shot at life.  Bruce is now on the search for his new home and is ready to be the king of his castle!  Isn't his cow spot nose the cutest?!?

Likes: Cuddling, spending time with people, car rides, food and running around outside.

Dislikes: Deer & having his paws wiped.

Personality: Bruce is sweet, affectionate, and always sitting by your side no matter what you are doing.

Temperament: Overall he is a mush and a sweetheart who is well behaved. He barks at deer and anyone approaching the house, but is sweet as pie as soon as that person is inside.

Energy Level: Bruce has moderate energy - he is always ready to go on a walk or play in the yard but he’s also happy relaxing on the couch. He's the best of both worlds!

Favorite activities: Walks, car rides, anything involving treats, & chewing his toys.

Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Bruce has not been around any children over 6 so this is an unknown.

Not good with: Dogs and cats. He would like to be the only pet in his new home and he promises to be the bestest of the best of pets. :)

Housetrained: Yes

Crate trained: Yes

Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? Yes

Walks well on a leash?  Bruce is ok on leash.  If he sees a squirrel, deer, or other wildlife he will pull. Otherwise he loves walks and sniffing around.

Challenges: Bruce needs to be the only pet in the home. Also, his water intake needs to be monitored. He will drink whatever water is put down in front of him no matter how much.

Any Medical issues?  None

What would be the best kind of home?  Bruce would fit in best in a home where he is the only dog. A fenced in yard is a bonus but as long as he is taken for walks he will be fine. The most important thing is Bruce being shown lots of affection as he is a giant lovebug.
