Jenna is a 4-year-old, spayed English Bulldog. Jenna will have you at hello! She is absolutely adorable and has the cutest face. Although she seldom barks, her endearing snoring, grunting, snorting, burping, wheezing, snuffing and fluctuance reminds you of her presence. Jenna spent her life at the puppy mill making babies and is now looking for a forever home; where she can be loved and spoiled like the princess she is.
Likes: Jenna loves attention, belly rubs and to be around people. She is very food motivated and
loves her chew toys.
Dislikes: Although Jenna needs to shed a few pounds and work on her summer body, she is not
a big fan of physical activity or long walks.
Personality: Jenna is full of personality. She is a sweet, loving, goofy and laid-back.
Temperament: Jenna is friendly, curious, playful and comical.
Energy level: Low. Like a bulldog.
Favorite activities: When not eating or sleeping, Jenna enjoys playing, belly rubs, car rides.
Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)? Jenna loves people and dogs. She is currently being
fostered with two large breed male dogs. She loves being around them and playing with them. It
is recommended that Jenna be placed in a home with kids over the age of 6; since she does like
to jump up on people to solicit attention. Cats are unknown.
Not good with: (Cats? Dogs? Strangers? Men? Kids?) Cats unknown.
Housetrained: YES!
Crate trained: Yes. Jenna will go into her crate with some coaching and of course…treats.
Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? No
Walks well on a leash? Yes!
Challenges: Jenna does not understand personal space. She loves to jump on and hump her
foster canine brothers and mom. She prefers to think for herself and has tendency to be
tenacious and stubborn. Training is recommended.
Any Medical issues? Jenna was recently spayed and is on antibiotics. She does have some
health issues that are easily managed. She is being treated for a yeast infection in her ears and
has a skin condition that requires bathing 1-2 times per week with medicated shampoo. She also
has a cyst on her foot in between her toes that requires soaking in Epson salt 1-2 a day. Her face
wrinkles need to be regularly checked to make sure the skin is clean and dry, to avoid irritation
or infection. Jenna is very cooperative and allows her foster mom to take care of all her medical
needs.
What would be the best kind of home? Jenna is easy to please and deserves a home surrounded
by love and affection. She would be a wonderful family pet to any family who is looking for a
low maintenance/energy pet guaranteed to make you smile.
