FAYA IS LOCATED IN HANOVER, PA.

Faya is a sweet and lovable ‘by your side’ kind of girl that wants to be the center of your world. She is a 2.5-year-old Cane Corso weighing in at just over 100 lbs. Not only is she sweet, but
she is also beautiful with a stunning gray-brindle coat. Typical of the breed, Faya is very protective and loyal to her people, and will need slow introductions with strangers, but once she gets to you know you, she’ll want all of your attention. Faya is very intelligent and food motivated. She is fully house and crate-trained and knows basic commands like sit and stay but does need some work with begging. The girl loves her some food! She would do best in a single-family home with a fully fenced yard.

Likes: Faya LOVES attention from her humans. She likes to sit by your feet all day, whether you’re working at your desk or watching TV, she’ll be right there with you. She likes her toys and enjoys playing with other dogs of her size. She has also been known to take a jump on the trampoline with her human kid brothers.

Dislikes: She doesn’t like when new people come through the door who she isn’t familiar with, and she will let you know by barking. Faya prefers slow introductions, but once she knows you’re cool, you’re on her friends list.

Personality: Faya is a sweetheart and cuddler, she is the just best-est girl who will steal your heart. She likes to know what’s going on and will follow you around the house to see what you’re getting into next. She wants to be so close to you that she’ll try to sneak in your bed at night and steal all of the covers!

Temperament: Very protective of family, will need a house without a lot of visitors coming in out. Faya tends to be on high-alert and vocal with movement around doors and windows. She would do best with a family that has experience with the Cane Corso breed.

Energy level: Spurts of energy when she wants you or the other dogs in the house to play, then
other times she is happy to chill out and watch TV with you.

Favorite activities: Going for walks (she is probably not going to be your hiking buddy, but does enjoy short walks around the block). She loves to snuggle, take naps, play with her toys, and is a true foodie, never passing up a treat.

Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 10): Faya is good with other dogs of her size, has not been exposed to cats (so not sure on that front), she loves kids, but smaller children might not be best only because of her size and she may unintentionally knock them down.

Not good with: Faya is alert and inquisitive with strangers so will require slow introduction to new
people.

Housetrained: YES! She is fully-house trained; she’s never once had an accident in the house.

Crate trained: Although she doesn’t require crating if you leave the house, she’ll get right in if you ask her to and wait for her treats.

Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? Yes. Recommend fully fenced yard.

Walks well on a leash? Yes, she can pull a bit when she sees another dog, but can easily be re-directed.

Challenges: Faya is very vocal and on high-alert when someone enters or exits the house, so she’ll need an owner who can properly introduce new people to her and make her feel safe.

Any Medical issues? No. She is healthy, fully UTD on shots and spayed.

What would be the best kind of home? Single family home (no close neighbors) and a fenced yard. A quiet household without a lot of commotion. Faya would do well with a family that has another dog of her size, or she would do well as an only pet. She is a beautiful, intelligent girl who deserves a great family to give her all the love she craves.
