Reba is a gorgeous brindle 5 year old English Bulldog. She came to MTM with Pearl as a former puppy mill breeder.  Like Pearl, she is now looking at a brighter future and hoping to find the perfect people to love and spoil her!

Likes:  Food. Yup, she loves food.  And she loves getting love. (Don't we all??)  She also enjoys playing ball and laying in the sunshine in the backyard. Her crate is her “safe spot.”

Dislikes: Reba is not a fan of loud noises or sudden movements until she becomes more familiar with her surroundings.  She's learning all about life outside of the mill and everything is new to her.

Personality: She's understandably cautious, yet curious about everything around her! She's incredibly loving and ready to share her love with a new family.

Temperament: She's generally quiet & docile.

Energy level: Sleep. Play. Sleep. Play. Sleep, sleep, sleep, and more sleep.  She's enjoying a safe place to sleep. :)

Favorite activities: Reba loves being in the sun and in the yard. She enjoys walking around in the yard exploring all the newness that life has to offer. She also likes playing ball. And sleeping.  Did we mention she likes to sleep?

Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?:   She is untested with cats, but is likely impervious to them. She is not phased by other dogs at all. Reba jas not been tested with kids.

Not good with: She will need a quiet adjustment period with a crate & smaller spaces in the beginning to adjust to her new surroundings.  Everything is new to Reba; sounds, sights, boundaries, etc.  Blankets are not recommended in her crate at first as she may chew them up.

Housetrained:  She's had very few accidents in her foster home and is improving everyday - almost there!!!!!!

Crate trained: Yes. Reba goes right to it when coming in from outside. Its her “safe, quiet place.”

Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? A fenced in yard is ideal as Reba loves to explore!

Walks well on a leash?  Reba is working on it and is responding well so far.  It's all new, so time will be her friend in learning that walks are fun!

Challenges: Reba needs patience and is gaining trust daily with her foster humans.  She is still building her confidence in her new surroundings..

Any Medical issues? None known.

What would be the best kind of home?  Someone experienced with the EBD breed or who has adopted a puppy mill dog in the past would benefit Reba. She needs quiet at first with slow introductions and lots of patience as she explores her new world and gains trust.  Reba is just waiting to give love and get love!
