Cane Corso Mastiff (short coat) : : Male : : Baby
Loki is a young, playful pup that is loved by everyone he meets! He was found in a shed trapped by his harness with a gash in his underarm. He was very lucky to be found and cut free. A KY rescue saved him and asked MTM to take him in. Even after all that Loki has been through, he is an absolute sweetheart and deserves an amazing home. Is that home with you? Likes: Toys, dog friends, all people, morning smiles, and wiggles. Dislikes: Crates, storms while in a car, and sharing toys with other dogs (but he’s learning). Personality: Lovable, happy, playful, sweet, friendly cuddle-bug. Temperament: Due to being food deprived Loki must eat alone. Energy level: Active – enjoys walks. Very playful! Favorite activities: Playing with toys, being with his people, yard play, walks and eating. Good with: Dogs, elderly, kids (over 7 due to his strength and size). Loki loves company, smiling, obeys commands, taking treats gently, and entertaining himself with toys. Not good with: Cats (he chases them), dogs charging him, table manners (working on “no dogs in kitchen” during human meals). Housetrained: Yes Crate trained: Working on it - he cries. ☹ Requires a physical fenced yard? Yes Walks well on a leash? Yes, as long as other dogs don’t charge him. Challenges: Crate, sharing toys, being around kitchen table with other dogs. Any Medical issues? No - vet recommends being heartworm/lime tested in January 2023 due to the amount of time he was out. What would be the best kind of home? One where someone is home most of the time, fenced yard, active, patient, loving family. Loki was fending for himself after getting loose for 39 days just a mere 2 hours after being rehomed. Due to his past, he is always wanting to be near his people. In time, once he finds his forever home and gains confidence, that will subside. Loki will make a wonderful family pet. He’s very smart and with a dedicated family he will blossom even more. You cannot help but fall in love with Loki once you spend five minutes with him. He loves playing and pleasing!
LOKI IS LOCATED IN KY BUT WILL BE TRANSPORTED AS NEEDED FOR PLACEMENT.
