Brief description: Ms. Fletcher is a goofy love bug. She loves playing with other dogs and cuddling with humans. She is smart and is ready to be trained as the perfect family dog. She had a rough life and since she came into rescue she is adapting great to how a dog is supposed to live a life loved.

Likes: Other dogs, cuddles, socks, shoes, toys (hard and soft) and laying in the sun.

Dislikes: Loud noises, fast hand movements and cats.

Personality: Goofy and awkward but in a good way!

Temperament: She is very sweet. She gets scared when going to the vet. She does not enjoy having her nails done or getting a bath but she will let you if you are gentle. She is very gentle and loving. She is crate trained but do not force her! Give her a treat and she will go in willingly.

Energy level: She loves to trot and run. A fence would be the best option for her. SHE WILL GO AFTER CATS AND SMALL ANIMALS so a underground fence would not work for her. She also loves to snuggle with a person or another dog. She is very playful with other dogs.

Favorite activities: Playing with other dogs and chewing on bones.

Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: No, yes, and yes.

Not good with: Cats and small animals she will chase

Housetrained: Yes

Crate trained: Yes

Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? A fenced yard or a large plot of land, not near any roads. No invisible.

Walks well on a leash? Yes like an angel

Challenges: She is still a pup and will chew on shoes and socks, she will jump up on counters and will make anything a toy. She is crate trained but since she is so young she should not be left in a crate for extended time periods. The more you work with her the better she gets. She can be left alone for short periods of time hour or two if distracted. Peanut butter in a bone or ball.

Any Medical issues? Not currently

What would be the best kind of home? Active or a family with a large yard and other dogs.

Mrs. Fletcher is being fostered in Smithsburg, MD.
