Meet Manny! Manny is a happy, bouncy, 1 year old mastiff/boxer mix looking for his forever home! Manny was found wandering the streets as a stray and when no one came to claim him from the shelter, Manny became a man on the market! Manny is a big softy under it all, but he can come on a little strong and he could use some work on his manners training. Manny LOVES being around people (although he prefers to approach them on their own terms and he doesn't love it when strangers get all up in his face) and he's great with other big dogs (but sometimes needs a little redirection because he likes to try to hump them...) and would love to have a big doggy partner in crime in his forever home, but he's not always a big fan of little dogs, so he's not a great match for a family with smaller dogs. Manny can be a little shy and skittish around loud city noises, so he would love a quiet neighborhood and a home with a fenced in yard where he can zoom around, play with his toys and relax and enjoy the calm. Manny has enjoyed some outings with his foster and is sure to make a great companion!
Because of his size, age and energy, Manny is looking for an adults only home without young children. Manny's forever family should be prepared to take him to training to help him learn how to be a good citizen, and he would benefit from some muzzle training for vet visits because he doesn't appreciate being poked and prodded by the vet.
Manny needs a foster or a loving forever home to lavish love and attention on him. Please open your heart and home to Manny!
Manny is being fostered in Maryland.
