Brief description: Hank is a mild, easygoing, and calm dog. He’s also silly and playful. He loves to lie on the couch or by your side. He does not fuss about sleeping in the crate either. He is such a happy dog. Likes: He’s content to sit at your feet or by your side. Hank loves belly rubs and head scratches. He will do anything for peanut butter. Dislikes: Hank will stay in the crate but it's not his favorite thing. He likes just hanging out with humans. Personality: He is very gentle and calm. He does get the zoomies when he jumps up and down and they last around 2 minutes. He is such a good, sweet boy and only wants to be near to you. Temperament: He has no trouble at all with grooming, checking the feet, checking the teeth or anything. He is not picky about food or toys. He is happy outside and inside the house. He likes to sleep in his crate with a pillow. Energy level: Mostly calm and quiet except when he gets the zoomies. Favorite activities: He likes to walk a bit but mostly is a couch potato. Good with cats, dogs, and kids over 6?: He is good with children. He is okay with other dogs in the house. Not good with: He's still learning to not pull on the leash when he walks. Housetrained: Yes Crate trained:Yes Challenges: Hank is learning to come when he is called and some basic commands and structure. Being a quick learner he will learn these fast. Any Medical issues? Approved adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Delaware, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina and Kentucky. You must be at least 21 years of age to apply and legally sign our contract for adoption. Applications must be completed by the homeowner. We do not adopt giant breed dogs to renters. If you are renting, and you are applying to adopt a dog that is not a giant breed, permission to adopt an animal must be obtained from the landlord or property owner. We do not adopt giant breed dogs to homes with children under 6 years of age. Homes with children should have a fenced yard. Applications will be denied if anyone residing in the household has a record indicating drug/alcohol abuse, theft, or violence. Homes with highly varnished floors must have non-slip area rugs or mats wherever your animal walks or rests frequently.
To ensure proper house training and socialization, puppies will only be adopted to homes where an adult will not be away more than an hour per day, per month of age of the puppy, up to 6 months.
