Betsy is a 3 year old collie/lab mix. Unfortunately the family that adopted her no longer had time for her and she had become a bit overweight and a couch potato. We were also told that she did not like other animals and had a strong prey drive. Since coming to us, she has learned to walk on a leash always with another dog, she enjoys the company and play with our pack and has lost several pounds through activity and exercise. She is full of energy and is quite food motivated and therefore eager to learn. Betsy does do better with larger male dogs or young nonchallenging females. She is not recommended to be around cats. She does great riding in the car, and doesn't mind a nail trim. She is behaved at the vet, is crate trained and potty trained. Betsy is up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped. She was treated for heartworm and is now free and clear and is maintained on a monthly preventative. Located in Knoxville, MD Our rescue policy requires the following:
