Maximus “Max” is a 138lbs stud muffin accented with the softest ears and sparkling blue eyes. He is a chill guy with small spurts of puppy play. When he has had enough play with his fur brother and sister, he will walk himself to his crate and take a comfy nap.  Max also loves to show you how well he knows how to shake and sit. Max is all around a great catch!

Likes: Ice cubes, his crate, and his foster fur brother

Dislikes: Loud noises and strangers (but warms up quickly after a minute)

Personality: Well-mannered and follows instructions

Temperament: pretty laid back and enjoys playing

Energy level: Mostly relaxed with some puppy play

Favorite activities: Playing with his foster fur brother

Good with cats, dogs, and kids over 6?:  Loves other dogs, not cat tested and has not been around children over 6 at this time

Not good with: (Cats? Dogs? Strangers? Men? Kids?) When he first meets a new person, he puts off a low grumble to warn people he wants to do slow intros on his time- After about 30 seconds he’s fine and wagging his tail. He has never been cat tested so he will NOT be placed with cats. Due to his breed he will not be placed with any male bully breeds.

Housetrained: Yes- with some occasional excitement dribbles

Crate trained: Yes- he loves his crate to nap and sleep

Challenges: None that his foster is aware of

Any Medical issues? jowl acne which he has medicated wipes for cleaning the area

What would be the best kind of home? Max would do great in a relaxed home with other dogs to play and socialize with.

Fostered in Dayton, OH.
