  • Species: Dog
  • Current Age: 7 Years 2 Months (best estimate)

Capone came to Mastiff to Mutts when his owner could no longer afford him. He is calm and knows all his commands. He is a sweet dog that enjoys belly and ear rubs as well as being with his people.

Likes: Being with his humans, also enjoys snacks of chicken and string cheese

Dislikes: Being alone… is initially scared of strangers so slow introductions are necessary

Personality: Laid back

Temperament: Once he gets used to you, he is pretty chill

Energy Level: calm enjoys just laying at your feet

Favorite activities: just being with his people chewing on his toys

Good with: Calmer dogs, no puppies as they are too excitable for him. Ok with kids over 6

Not Good with: Cats

Housetrained: yes

Crate trained: Yes- suggest a heavy-duty cage can be purchased thru Amazon or Overstock

Challenges: Capone prefers women but warms up to men quick. He is initially fearful of strangers but warms up quick with slow introductions when he knows everything is ok in a controlled environment. He does have a mild case of separation anxiety will not destroy anything just prefers to be with his people.

His best home would be a calm lower energy home with another canine companion and NO cats. Capone is an awesome dog that looks to please

Fostered in Wilmington, DE.
