About Groot (MEDICAL HOLD)

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Adoption Fee: 450.00
  • Species: Dog
  • Current Size: 119 Pounds
  • Current Age: 5 Years 8 Months (best estimate)

Groot is quite the handsome boy with beautiful markings, hypnotizing eyes, great body form and a happy go lucky personality to die for.

He absolutely loves to interact and play with other dogs and his humans. Whether it be tug of war, a game of fetch or to just run and chase, he is excited about it all.
He also loves to roll over and have his belly rubbed, enjoys a scratch behind the ears, let's you know a good brushing feels really good and dosent mind showing how much he loves you by giving lots of kisses. He hasnt expressed any displeasure about much this far.

Groot is young and playful and has bursts of energy with some down time in between to recuperate and then hes right back at it. He could be described as goofy and alot of fun.

He is crate trained and completely house trained and learns very quickly. He knows basic commands and shows an eagerness to learn and please. During bed time or once placed in the crate he is quiet and enjoys having a few toys with him to keep him entertained. He has shown no destructiveness when left alone without his human and no signs of separation anxiety.

Currently his only medical issue is that he is not allowed to have poultry and he can therefore be somewhat of a picky eater. He is neither a messy eater or drinker and drools very little. He was recently neutered and did very well with that surgery.

Groot although very social with first meetings can show some dominance so slow introductions are recommended.

All in all Groot is happy and healthy and would be a constant and loyal companion and a best friend.

Fostered in Knoxville, MD.
