English Mastiff : : Female
Anabel is a 10-year-old spayed female English Mastiff. She is mostly housetrained but does have small accidents several times a week. This is most likely due to her age. She is easy going and is not bothered by the other dogs or the cats. Likes: She loves car rides and enjoys a warm bath Dislikes: none found Personality: very laid back Temperament: Anabel has such an easy-going temperament. She wagged for the Vet and happily let them examine her. She willingly climbed into the tub for her bath and she rides very well in a car. She climbs into the car on her own too. Energy level: she likes to sleep a lot, but her playing is the cutest thing ever Favorite activities: sleeping and having her face petted Good with: cats, dogs both large and small, and strangers Not good with: nothing that we’ve found Housetrained: mostly Crate trained: probably, but there’s no real need to crate her Challenges: Due to her age, Anabel struggles with stairs. She would do best in a home where she does not have to use them often Any Medical issues? She’s thin in the back end, has dry skin that makes her itchy and a hematoma in her right ear. She’s taking meds for the two conditions and on a high-quality diet to put some weight on Anabel does fine in her current foster home which is a busy house with several animals, but we think she’d love a home where she gets more individual attention. When it’s just her she’ll play and talk to you. But mainly she wants a warm, soft, safe place to sleep. Fostered in Degraff, OH.
