Neapolitan Mastiff Learn more about the Neapolitan Mastiff.
Minerva has a friendly, outgoing personality. She came to us from an awful hoarding situation but has an excellent disposition despite what she has been through
Likes: snuggles and being inside
Dislikes: small children make her nervous
Personality: so sweet and playful
Temperament: good eater, takes treats well
Energy level: follows you around the house, sleeps when everyone else does, gets the zoomies outside
Favorite activities: hanging out, enjoys checking out the barn
Good with: dogs and cats, she’ll chase a cat if it runs but won’t harm it
Not good with: small children
Housetrained: yes
Crate trained: yes but talks a lot until she settles down
Challenges: Minerva flinches a lot and will drop to the ground if she’s unsure of what you want or are doing
Any Medical issues? dry eyes, requires daily eye drops to keep her eyes lubricated
What would be the best kind of home for her? Minerva is a short tank; her family will need to be prepared for her strength. She wants to face greet and will do so by launching herself into the air. She will do well alone or with other animals
