American Bulldog : : Female
Sunshine is a bulldog who was saved from the puppy mill. She can be a bit of a bully to other dogs (particularly females) and would do best as an only dog. She has not yet been cat tested. She has a dominant personality and will attempt to hump small children so she should not be placed in a home where small children visit. Sunshine is a sweet girl that loves people. She loves cuddling on a nice lap, wrapped in a blanket. She follows her humans and loves attention. Likes: Submissive dogs Dislikes: Dominant dogs. And dislikes cats. Personality: Sunshine is very laid back, sweet personality. Temperament: She lets you clean her ears and bathe her without a fuss. Energy Level: Is low, likes short walks and lots of couch time. Favorite activities: Loves going for car rides. Not good with: Young children, cats House Trained: Sunshine is house trained, but does need frequent potty breaks. Crate Trained: She is crate trained. Holds her urine and sleeps all night in her crate. She does get excited to come out in the morning and does a cute dance before running out the door to potty. Challenges: Sunshine's biggest challenge is her humping for dominance. She will hump small children and other dogs. She is not aggressive while doing this behavior and is easily redirected. Medical issues: include a current ear infection that is being treated by her foster and should be cleared up quickly. Other then that, she is very healthy, spayed and up to date with her vaccinations. Sunshine would do best in a home with submissive dogs. Any other dogs in the household need to be very tolerant of her humping behavior. She also needs to be corrected when doing so. Training would help with managing this behavior. She is very loving to everyone she meets and follows her humans wherever they go. Sunshine loves to go on car rides and falls asleep on the seat or floor. She would not do well with cats in the home.
