English Bulldog : : Male
Likes: toys and being pet Dislikes: being startled, the leash, stairs....especially going down Personality: suuuuuper laid back, becoming goofy, shy, hesitant, shuts down easily but once he is fully secure, will be super affectionate and silly Temperament: you could do anything thing to this dog. He gags on a pill but eats foods with medicine sprinkled on it without issue. Hung out in the bath tub for a long time without issue Energy level: very low Favorite activities: unsure. He's still learning what life is like outside of a cage Good with cats, dogs, and kids over 6?: yes to all. I would recommend kids over 10 because he is a little mouthy and kids need to be old enough to understand to not startle him and be gentle with him Not good with: sudden movement Housetrained: yes Crate trained: yes Challenges: Ashen needs someone who is going to be very patient with him while he learns what life is like outside of a cage. He is learning very quickly that people are actually good. He is slowly becoming very affectionate and likes to be petted however he is also beginning to show affection by nibbling on you, your feet etc (absolutely not aggressive at all). When he is uncertain of a situation he cowers to the ground and freezes like a statue. He is still unsure of going down stairs and tries to hop down the whole set rather than walk down them. So a long flight of stairs would be a disaster. He is finally beginning to walk up them though Any Medical issues? None that I am aware of What would be the best kind of home?(ex. calm, quiet, active, secluded, other pets, no cats, etc) Calm, low energy but definitely with someone who is home a lot and with a calm canine friend.
