Brief description: Bruno is a 2 year old male Cane Corso. He’s a friendly boy that likes everyone - adults and kids. Bruno is crate trained and house trained. He sleeps through the night in his crate with no issue. Bruno came to us from Virginia. He was found as a stray and no one came for him. Due to his breed, we will not place him in a home with male dogs. Likes: Bruno enjoys cuddling, car rides and loves to play with toys. Dislikes: We haven’t noticed any yet. Personality: Bruno has a great personality. He’s loving and playful. Temperament: Bruno has shown no signs or aggression. He’s a sweet boy. Energy level: Bruno enjoys walks around the block and playing with toys. He is a mild energy dog. Favorite activities: Bruno loves toys, cuddles on the couch and playing with other dogs. Good with: Bruno is good with dogs and cats. He currently is fostered with a male Pug and cat. Housetrained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Challenges: None noticed so far. Bruno is a pleasant dog to be around. Any Medical issues? Bruno currently has entropian in his eyes. He is scheduled for surgery. Bruno also seems to have a skin infection. It seems to be improving with good food and he will be getting a skin scrape to confirm what’s going on. What would be the best kind of home for him? He’s easy going and loving. He enjoys people and children. If a child walks up to him he immediately sits so they can pet him. He loves being able to walk around the fenced in yard but would be fine with daily walks. Approved adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Delaware, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina and Kentucky. You must be at least 21 years of age to apply and legally sign our contract for adoption. Applications must be completed by the homeowner. We do not adopt giant breed dogs to renters. If you are renting, and you are applying to adopt a dog that is not a giant breed, permission to adopt an animal must be obtained from the landlord or property owner. We do not adopt giant breed dogs to homes with children under 6 years of age. Homes with children should have a fenced yard. Applications will be denied if anyone residing in the household has a record indicating drug/alcohol abuse, theft, or violence. Homes with highly varnished floors must have non-slip area rugs or mats wherever your animal walks or rests frequently.
To ensure proper house training and socialization, puppies will only be adopted to homes where an adult will not be away more than an hour per day, per month of age of the puppy, up to 6 months.
