Black Mouth Cur : : Female
Boo came to us from a shelter in West Virginia where she was dropped off with a broken leg. Just a few weeks in her cast and she should be good as new!
Likes: Dogs! She adores playing with her foster siblings of all ages and sizes. She currently lives with five other dogs and loves them all. She adores her foster momma and loves to be babied. She loves all kinds of toys and attention.
Dislikes: Currently struggling with stairs due to her cast. She prefers to be carried because she’s spoiled
Personality: Boo is playful and once she is healed would love to be able to run around a yard!
Temperament: Boo lets her foster mom clip her nails, clear her eats, and change her cast dressing with no issues.
Energy level: mild, she loves to play but love to sleep just as much
Favorite activities: playing with her canine foster siblings and belly rubs from foster mom
Good with: strangers and dogs, kids ages 6 and up, cats are unknown but since she is a puppy could easily learn to live with them
Housetrained: Not yet but working on it
Crate trained: Boo is crate trained but is not a fan. She does settle down pretty quickly but will cry when first crated.
Any Medical issues? Boo currently wears a cast on her front left leg. Her belly is covered in tiny bites as she was previously flea infested but she is on the mend. She is expected to have a full recovery.
What would be the best kind of home for Boo: Someone who is home every three hours to work on proper socialization, potty training, and obedience training with her.
