Brief description: Heidi was rescued from an Amish puppy mill breeder. . She is a brindle colored Mastiff and weighs approximately 80 pounds. Heidi is a sweet girl, obviously bred for puppies. She is house trained. Heidi gets along well with other dogs, in particular, her three neutered mastiff foster brothers. She also gets along well with kids (fostered by a family with 10, 12, and 14 year olds); in fact, she seems to favor the 14-year-old son. Heidi is a cuddler, likes the couch, bed, or a comfy blanket on the floor. Likes: Heidi likes to hang out on the couch or a bed (dog or human). Dislikes: none that we are aware of! Personality: Shy and laidback. Definitely not the alpha dog. Temperament: Heidi has taken her medications with a piece of bread, and she is pretty submissive. Very gentle. Seems to prefer men, but is happy to cuddle up with mom on the couch, too. Energy level: Heidi is your typical lazy couch potato Mastiff. Favorite activities: She likes to wander around in the backyard, she is not very active, and likes to be by her people.
