About Zeke

  • Adoption Fee: $325
  • Species: Dog
  • Current Age: 10 Years 3 Months (best estimate)
  • Housetrained: Yes

Zeke is a 4-year-old male Great Dane with natural years and beautiful eyes.  He is currently being fostered in Wilmington DE. Zeke is great with kids and other dogs but would do best in a home as the only dog or with another less dominant dog.  He enjoys long walks, being outside and car rides. Zeke would do best in a home with a 6 foot fence. He walks beautifully on a leash using gentle leader.

Zeke is a fun loving, very calm, big boy.  He is housebroken and trustworthy when left alone in the home. Because of his size he does counter surf.  Zeke does have anxiety when left alone in his crate. He is an escape artist and has managed to break out of his crate unless it is secured with additional locks.  His foster mommy is working with Zeke to help reduce his anxiety and he is currently on medication.

It took Zeke a few months to warm up and come out of his shell.  Although he does not like chew toys or bones, he has a favorite squeaky ball and pig he loves to play with.  He spends most of the time refereeing his foster brother and sister while they play.  From time to time, he will interact with them and play.

Fostered in Wilmington, Delaware.
