HAPPY UPDATE: Our adopter asked us to post her comments. We thank them for opening their heart and home to Freeman. "We would like to thank the Timber Ridge group with helping us adopt Hugo, formerly named Freeman. Freeman has adjusted so well at home and he is a delight to be with all the time. My husband was a bit anxious at first to adopt a dog, let alone a 130 lb male breed, but Hugo won him over in 3 days. He is very loving and gentle to everyone, EVEN the aggressive male dogs that he would encounter on the street. We as a family are truly lucky that we found him and that Hugo has accepted us as well!" Take a look at our handsome man FREEMAN! Poor Freeman and his son, Dozer, were left behind in their home as their family moved out. Can you imagine that? Just walking out and leaving your dogs to starve? They were very thin when they were found ... BUT HAPPY NEWS!!! They are healthy and happy fellas now that they have been rescued! They look to be pure bred Mastiffs, Freeman is 4 years old weighing in at 130#. He was raised with children and is so very loving. We are looking for a special home so Freeman will never be left again. Will you be that special person to love this sweet boy forever? Will you? Freeman is being fostered in Gaithersburg, MD and must be picked up at that location. Freeman's adoption fee is $300. Adoption Fees: Timber Ridge Rescue is a 501c3 non profit rescue.
