My name is Calvin and I’m a lovable, fun-loving guy on the lookout for my forever family.  I lived the first few years of my life in a cage in a South Korean meat farm -- I am thrilled to be here in the U.S.!  I’ve learned so much since becoming an American! I love chewing on bones, toys and soft beds. I’ve had a blast making other doggy friends (both male and female, big and little) and would love to find a home with other dogs. (I’m not a fan of cats or young kids.) I love long walks (did I mention I’m really great on a leash?).  I also am partial to ladies – guys are ok, but they scare me a bit at first. (It takes me a while to warm up to new people.) I’m not much of a barker unless I’m surprised (great watchdog, perhaps?), I sleep through the night and I don’t chew on stuff I’m not supposed to—I’m doing great at this pet dog stuff!  I’ve been through a lot in my life, but I’m ready to move on and put down some roots!  If you think you’re the family for me, let me know! 


Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our funds are used for rescuing the dogs. Our rescue policy requires the following: *Adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina. *Applications for giant breed dogs must be submitted by the property owner. *Homes with children under 6 years of age will not be approved for adoption. *Homes with children should have a fenced yard. *All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permitted at the foster home. *All family members must be present during the home visit to the applicant's home. *Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being applied for, before any adoption can be completed.
