Lady is a fabulous 5-6 year old English Mastiff girl. She has an awesome smile that will melt anyone's heart when they walk in the door. Lady was kept in a small crate for much of her life, making it hard for her to move much at all when she first came into foster. She has come such a long way and can now walk up stairs with very little effort and even breaks into a gallop from time to time when outside with the other dogs. She is not a dog that will take long walks in the park, but thanks to her daily Dasuquin, she is able to get out and explore the yard and visit neighbors. Swimming is a new activity she enjoys and car rides are one of her favorites- she just might need a little help getting in and out. She is good with other dogs and cats. She absolutely loves kids. Everyone that meets her falls in love with her, and she loves to make new friends because that means more attention! It doesn't take much to keep this gentle girl happy- a comfy couch, a squeaky stuffy, a bone to chew, and a hand to pet her. She had a sad start to life and is truly deserving of finding her happily ever after. Adoption Donations: Please know that 100% of our funds are used for vetting the dogs. Our rescue policy requires the following: *All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permitted at the foster home. *A visit to the applicant's home when all members are present. *Homes with small children must have a fenced yard. *Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being applied for before any adoption can be completed.
